Cat Breading

This internet trend has, according to Gawker, jumped the shark. Things are jumping the shark all within the span of hours now! The internet moves so fast.

I think jumping the shark has jumped the shark.

Anyways, I did this and it brought me much delight which was immediately followed by crushing guilt. Afeni didn't mind that I put bread on her head. She was confused, but not angry. The crushing guilt came because I couldn't stop laughing. I couldn't even say her name without laughing. I felt terrible laughing at my dear friend, but I'm fine now. I think she looks pretty adorable with bread on her head. She's a little bread lion!

And if you are wondering about her name, she's named after Tupac's mom. She's not to be messed with. Thug Life.

Your kitty is such a good sport. Once entered our darling Pug Ti into a pug costume contest. We dressed him up as a Punk Rocker. Anyway we kept telling him how darling he looked, kissing him, etc....during the contest everyone started laughing and screaming when he entered the ring. Poor Ti was so embarrassed, and kept looking over at us with this sad face of how his family betrayed him....Oh it was horrible, we felt so bad, and we couldn't stop laughing either...lol lol :) I had tears in my eyes at first how let down the poor little soul felt...

That's exactly how I felt, Maureen! Exactly. I mean, she was just letting me put this bread on her head. She totally trusts me. Just lying back and letting the bread happen and what do I do? I crack up laughing at her! I felt like I had betrayed her! She wake me up early in the morning purring in my face and walking all over me. It was sooo reassuring.
I bet little Ti was soooo cute!!!! Pugs can rock a costume. For sure.

I just can't emotionally deal with thinking I shamed Afeni in any way. You know how that is. I told her that seeing her in bread was the happiest thing that has happened so far this week. I hope that helped smooth things over.

oh gosh, my Spike just couldn't stand the bagel I was trying to fit onto his head ;) Afeni is a lot more cool about it!
