Being a Weirdo at the Holidays

What was I doing last year at this time? Bitching about the holidays? I don't know. That's what I want to do this year, but I'll refrain. I'll go check and see what I was talking about.

I guess I was kinda talking about resolutions and stuff.

I see I've only written 2 blogs this month and that is a disgrace. I am so ashamed of myself. Like my facebook event invitations, this is something that probably only bothers me. I don't imagine anyone is out there keep track of how many posts I've done this month. If you are, I'm sorry. This month has been weird. I keep pushing through it though and soon it won't be this year anymore and we can all breathe a sigh of relief. Or I can. Let's all do it though! Sighs of relief for all!

This year I will kind of try to make some resolutions. Not weird things like giving up this or that. I'M NOT GIVING UP ANYTHING! I resolve to continue to try new things. Not just food wise, but life wise. Just continue to try to be adventurous, even if it is just in little ways. Little adventures are big adventures to me. And I want to try to stop feeling guilty about everything like a weirdo! Feeling guilty over facebook event invites. Who does that? Me. I need to stop. And I wanna keep making things for the joy of it. RESOLUTIONS!

I've learned to disregard Facebook invites. If it's something where my presence is really wanted, the person will usually email or message me as well.

And what frickin' awesome hair you had as a kid! (Not that it's not awesome now, but you really had a sort of Einstein/ Gary Busey thing going on back then in that first picture. Kudos!)

And good for you for trying new things! My friend LB has recently been on a 'trying new things' kick and I'm so proud of her. And hey, once you've tried it, if you still think it's sucks, you never have to try it again. Believe me, I've taken this tactic on pork chops and brussels sprouts and it's served me well.

That's exactly it, Kerry! I get to tell people that I tried it and it sucks. Then they can just shut their god damn mouths about it! Of course, they usually just find my dislike of whatever they like totally appalling and shame me for my taste buds.

My hair has always been beyond my control. Some people can do all sorts of fancy things with their hair. At least now I brush it. I have that going for me.
