Bubble Drinks and The Holidays

First off, look at this drink I ordered the other night. I didn't see where it said it would be bubbling in the description! So that was extra exciting.

The holiday season is in full effect. We have a wreath on our door. We put the tree up. Well...tree is being generous, it's our Christmas shrub. Our apartment is bursting with holiday spirit! We even decorated stockings at the office. THERE'S NO ESCAPING CHRISTMAS! Except in my car. I should decorate my car.

And now, let's take a little internet tour of some holiday decor. Shall we? Well, I am, you can't stop me.

My work stocking.
And during the holidays you must always have a bowl of candy around the house. If you don't know what the candy is it's Cadbury chocolate balls, during Easter they are egg shaped. My Glen rat bowl that Maureen made me is out for all seasons! He's not just a Christmas decoration.

And here's our Christmas shrub! Isn't it festive? It's tiny, but I love it.

When I was a kid the Christmas tree was my favorite place to play. I would imagine little tree-cieties. The ornaments would have their own personalities and homes (nooks in the tree) and the ornaments had ornament friends they would go visit and hang out in their tree nook together. I would spend hours doing this. I would also make up little ornament conversations. My mom said she's witnessed similar tree play from Tori. Maybe all kids do that. Maybe Tori and I are tree weirdos, but it was fun.
 Tiny Scott!
 My little tree owl.
This penguin ornament is sort of big for the tree, but I don't care.
I do what I want.
Every tree needs a bead candy cane.
And the awesome skully ornament made by Gary
Rudolph! He was on TV tonight!
So was his girlfriend.

That concludes your tour. Good night.

I love it! Our trees are pretty similar! "Trees". I ALSO have a red stocking with MY name on it. We are so the same person, love it.

Ummmm hi, how did I not know they made CHRISTMAS CADBURY EGGS OMG I AM DYING. Those things are what I imagine crack to be like. Did you just buy them at Target, or where? I must know!

Merry Christmas to the Ver Mulms :) xo

Holy cats, a blue volcanic drink, how AWESOMEEEEEE! Cute little scott ornament, did you steal it from his mom?

Every time I go to Scott's parents house I pocket an ornament. One day their tree will be totally ornament free.

Wow that drink is awesome..haha! They should put an AlkaSeltzer in it for more explosive fun!
No you are not a tree weirdo, my Mom would decorate the entire house, every inch, and she did have a whole town every year in her hutch. She would pack away all the dishes and make this fabulous village behand glass, all lit up. Really cool!
Your ornaments are to die for, you would definitely have to check our Carrie's purse when she was leaving your home. She would take one of those darling owl ornaments for sure. Love them all. Splendid and oh so Christmas extraveganza. Oh yeah, you got it!

How did they make that drink? I must have this!

Love the tree. I totally want a silver tree now. I would accept nothing less.

It was called an Electric Lemonade.
It contains:
1 oz Smirnoff vodka
1 oz Blue Curacao liqueur
2 oz sweet and sour mix
2 oz 7-Up soda

Then the bubbles were made with dry ice. Which, they sell that at grocery stores here in Des Moines, but I feel like Des Moines grocery stores and New York grocery stores are pretty different.

GET A SILVER TREE! Post pictures!
