Sometimes trying to laugh away pain is tiring and I don't have the energy for it.
Sometimes I want to be angry and throw things on the ground. I want to shout and scream and be mad.
Or sit and be sad.
Don't let it cause you distress. I know it's weird when my guard is down and all my unhappy emotions are bubbling at the surface, but it will pass. I'll be your clown again soon.
