America

We had a pretty low key 4th of July. That doesn't mean I don't love America. I totally love America with all of my heart and soul.

My parents got back from their western road trip. So I hung out with them on Saturday. Grilled out, hung out. They had loads of fun. This is their first time road tripping alone since before I was born. Kids sort of throw a wrench in relaxing road trips. They went to Colorado, Montana, Wyoming and South Dakota. They just did whatever they wanted to do.

There was a rainbow over downtown last night. So we looked at that and I blew some bubbles. I have had one hell of a time finding decent bubble stuff. I finally got some that works. Gazillion bubbles

Then after it got dark I played with sparklers. Scott took some crazy pictures of my sparkling.

This was out on the terrace of our building. I decided I needed more room to sparkle so we headed down to the parking lot.
Scott set up his tripod and I went sparkler crazy.

Awesome sparkler time!!
Bubbles are so much fun. It's one of those things that I love doing but never remember to do unless someone prompts me. Kind of like flying kites.

I love bubbles. Bubble stuff has gotten too cheap nowadays. I got Imperial brand and could blow like ONE bubble. Total rip off.

There's nothing wrong with low key. Just enjoy yourself. And it sure looks like you did.

I'm with you on bubble juice. I've ordered some Zubbles, so we'll see how they go. :-D
