Finally last night I gave in. I tried bing. They had some heavy advertising on the Colbert Report last night and I just had to succumb to the pressure. Damn you and your charms, Stephen!
I’ll be honest, I was kind of afraid to try it because I thought I might like it. I love google and it felt like I was cheating on it somehow by even checking bing out.
It’s sort of along the same lines of my thoughts on TLC-Hoarders: Buried Alive. I could not allow myself to like the show because my allegiance is with A&E.
I also can’t go to Chipotle without Matt. Some things just aren’t right!
But I did it anyways. I knew the difference between right and wrong and I tried wrong. Let me tell you, it freaking sucked! I hate it. I had to think of something to search. Being the self absorbed person that I am I searched my blog.
You know what I didn’t find? My freaking blog! You suck, bing! You suck the big one. To top the whole experience off, now I’m dealing with bing guilt.
And look at me here on google. All starred and wonderful. I’m sorry I even went to that other site, google. Please accept my most sincere apologies from the bottom of my bing-hating heart.
Microsoft, stop trying to make bing happen. Give it up. It’s awful. We have everything we need from google. No one is suffering from search engine overload.
I’d rather have too much than nothing.
