I Wear My Brother's Night Vision at Night
I had the day off yesterday. I promised myself I’d be productive. I can’t stand wasted days off. (Sorry, Tyra. You ARE a waste)
In the morning I made my way to DC. Mom had the day off as well so we were going to run errands and things.
She had a broken oven. We waited for that to be fixed. I listened to the guy tell my mom his life story without any prompting on her part. People always just tell her things! She doesn’t ask. Just out comes the life story. She tries not to engage too much in the conversation, but that doesn’t seem to stop people. He was talking about being sick and getting better. “Well, Christ” was her contribution to his 15 minute discussion of being ill.
We even lunched at lunchtime! Like proper ladies out on the town.
Went to the eye doctor. Got some air blown in my eye, picked out some glasses.
Did the last of the Thanksgiving shopping.
Went over to my brother’s and tried out his night vision goggles that came with Call of Duty. I ran full force into his counter due to not having any depth perception.
I’m glad I didn’t sit around waiting for you to suck, Tyra.
