Baker Health Update
I'm not sure if my dear readers remember, but my Grandpa was in the hospital awhile back. Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The doctor told me once it hits the bowels it's always classified as stage 4. So if that's ever a question on some cancer trivia game, now you know. It was non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Anyways, he went to the doctor yesterday and the doctor couldn't find ANY cancer. They were fighting it very aggressively so I guess it worked! I'm sure my Grandpa will think that his wife's cooking was the real cure. He's an even pickier eater than myself! For those of you that have recently asked me to eat Chinese food for lunch and had to deal with my annoying eating habits. So getting away from that hospital food was his main goal. Though I'm sure he missed flirting with the nurses. He's a tough little guy. I'm so happy!
Also, my mom had to get her gall bladder removed. She got sick the night of the big bra auction (which was the most upsetting thing about it all for her) and ended up in the hospital. She was telling the doctor's how she didn't have the time to be there because she had a dinner to go to. Such little brats the Baker's are! So yesterday...out comes the gall bladder. I took today off so I could be out in DC while Dad worked in case she needed anything. I'll be honest, most of our day was just spent laying around watching a marathon of Wife Swap. Mom being the nice lady that she is acted like I was a huge help. At one point she acted like I was incapable of heating up some soup. I'll blame that on the vicodin.
