WWKD

Dear K,
I just started a new job, which is going really well, but occasionally I encounter a coworker from my last job that just about makes me a violent person. What can I do to avoid violence with this obnoxious excuse for a truck driver?

What’s wrong with violence? I guess if you don’t want to go the violent route try verbal abuse. It feels just as good and there’s no reason to be polite to an asshole.

Shoot, Kasey I got a BAD problem.
My buddy John and his wife on the next street are having a garage sale today and everything is a dollar except the new and kick azz black leather motorcycle jacket for 70.
It fits great.
F###.........
I am wondering if waiting a bit will make them desperate to sell it, and lower the price or should I not buy it at all??????????????

Barter. You have many items to barter with. 70 dollars is an unreasonable price for a garage sale item. At least in this Reverends opinion. You totally need to buy it, but not if he's unwilling to negotiate. That’s highway robbery. Buy it and show us how it looks.

True story: I looked all over the house, the piggy bank, the car ashtray to raise 70 bucks. Me and the beagle were heading out the door and I was like "better see what the Rev has to say". PLUS, make double sure its a good fit :)
I am headed out, thanks Rev!

Well, I can't really be violent. He's a big guy and I'm sure he could take me.. but I can verbally abuse him on the CB where everyone can hear. That's what I'll do.. verbal abuse with an audience. :)

OMG! I need more help, KB. My darling hubby and I went into town yesterday to window shop. It's really his turn to 'spend money' of a large quantity, but he wants a dirt bike that costs $4500, and I want a road bike that costs $1000. Who should get their bike first??? I say me because it's cheaper and it'll make me healthier in the long run, he says him because it's his turn! AHHHH!

Oh that is a dilemma. Can you guys find cheaper versions of both of your kind of bikes? Compromise.
I'm not one to say go out of turns but I also don't want to keep anyone from a bicycle.

Shop in more windows. Find a window with less expensive goods. Along with windows there is always the internet. I've been told there are deals to be had on here.

We're still in a quandry. I presented the idea to the husband, and his response was "this is the cheapest enduro, without going extra cheap and getting crap".

Unfortunately, same goes for me. I shopped for the same bike online and no one is selling this particular road bike for under a grand, but the guy in Waukee will sell it to me for $950... plus, I'd rather support a local bike shop.

We're still trying to figure out what to do. *confused*

There any "end of season" sales coming up? Might have to wait awhile but then at least you'd get what you want.

Dear WWKD--
I need to do the dishes and clean the cat box (AGAIN DAMMIT) but I had a wee shot of bourbon and was thinking I would goof off instead. Should I look at blogs or facebook?????
Thanks! Gary ::belch::

Had a few shots? Go on a commenting spree on facebook. It's the best thing to do while drinking.

I bought it. I'm a sucker. I love it. It loves me. We love each other. It's shiny and new and cheaper than a new car. The best part... it's fast. Way fast. :D
