Movie Review: Funny People

Not good.

That's my review. Here is a review by my Mom and Dad.

Me: We went to Funny People last night. I hated it. A lot.
Mom: Why did you go to that? I told you it was the worst movie I have ever seen in my life! What? You didn't believe me because you think that if I don't like something that it must be good.
Me: No. That's not it, Mom. That's a good rule to live by, but Scott wanted to see it.

Me: Well, people were laughing and I wasn't laughing. So, then I thought that I must be missing out on something.
Mom: They are laughing because it's so f*cking stupid you have to try to find things to laugh at to pass the time.

Dad: It was bad. It wasn't the WORST movie I've paid to see.

Mom: I went to the bathroom and I stayed in there a long time hoping that it would be over. I went back in and it was still on!

Mom: Did Scott like it?
Me: He says he did.
Me: Maybe he was just saying that because it was his idea. Trying to sell me on it after the fact.
Mom: I don't see how anyone could like it. He didn't like it.

Edit: This whole conversation ended with my Mom getting angry with me and my Dad about Twilight. Maybe I need to read the book, she says. No, Mom. No.

Scott is just trying to put a brave face on a bad idea.
You would think a dozen KC-itos would have helped you enjoy ANYTHING....
