I have never been good with the whole shopping thing. I have terrible and picky tastes in clothes. It's bizarre. I have absolutely zero fashion sense yet I have strong opinions about what I think is ok to wear. It's tragic really. I wish the entire world was forced to wear uniforms.
For example, I don't wear jeans. I don't like the way they feel on my skin. The fabric is just strange and confining to me. "Oh but jeans are so comfortable!" people will say to me. Maybe they are to you, whoever has said that to me.
Today my best friend is getting married. It's a same-sex marriage which was just legalized here in good ol' Iowa!!! Yay for us and being awesome.
Moving on, I've put off purchasing a dress. I went looking a few days ago. I was at the mall for an hour and lost it. My mom told me, "leave the mall" so I did. She knows best. For real.
After much soul and closet searching I've decided to wear something I already own. (pics later) A skirt and a pink embroidered sort of button up shirt. I purchased some fake pearls at Claire's, like I'm a 14 year old girl. I decided to name my look, "delicate little flower". You guys know me, that pretty much describes me anyways. I even bought some barrettes to put in my hair. Watch out world!
Update: Here's a pic and as you can see there was a change of plan on the shirt. The pink was making me look too much like a virgin that can't drive.
